June 2010: Rare Vivaldi Opera presented at Special Pinchgut Evening
On Thursday 22 July 2010, in the beautiful WaterEdge Restaurant at The Rocks, Pinchgut will present a special night of music and magic to support their 2010 production of Haydn’s L’anima del filosofo. The event will be opened by Her Excellency Marie Bashir AC COV, Governor of New South Wales, a long-time supporter of Pinchgut who describes the innovative and superlative company as “one of the jewels of Sydney”. The evening will feature a rarely heard entire (short) performance of La Ninfa e il Pastore by Antonio Vivaldi which is very much in the spirit of Pinchgut.

February 2010: Announcing Haydn's L'anima del filosofo and new General Manager
In December this year Pinchgut presents its ninth opera production - Haydn's L'anima del filosofo: Orpheus & Euridice - at City Recital Hall Angel Place Sydney opening on Thursday 2 December
Sydney's Pinchgut Opera has appointed Anna Cerneaz as its general manager.

Sydney's Pinchgut Opera is offering to refund the ticket price to anyone who has not seen a Pinchgut production before (or opera virgin) and who does not enjoy its up-coming production of Cavalli's L'Ormindo. And it will add $5 to cover the bus or train fare. Continue...
