Opera is offering to refund the ticket price to anyone who has not seen a
Pinchgut production before (or opera virgin) and who does not enjoy its
up-coming production of Cavalli's L'Ormindo. And it will add $5 to cover the bus or train fare. Continue...
June 2009: First Australian announced as Concert Scholar in prestigious US Music Institution Erin Helyard,has been chosen as the Westfield Concert Scholar for 2009-10 - the first Australian to do so. The Westfield Centre (no connection to Australia's Westfield Holdings) is a North American institution devoted to the study of historical keyboard instruments. Continue... He is one of those almost forgotten masters that Pinchgut Opera has been discovering for Australian audiences.
