Pinchgut will hold its second fundraising event on Thursday 22 July at the beautiful WatersEdge Restaurant at The Rocks. Pinchgut's Anna Cerneaz asks Anna and Genevieve, who are both on the Fundraising team, what you will expect to see and hear on the night - and why you should come along!



Architect Andrew Andersons talks about designing performing venues.

Andrew designed the wonderful City Recital Hall Angel Place where L'Ormindo will be performed this December. He is also an obsessive cocnetgoer. Andrew has designed for various cultural venues in Australia and overseas, and various extensions to art galleries, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Gallery of Australia and the Heide Museum of Modern Art building.

 

Nicole Forysth talks about playing the viola with Pinchgut
Nicole Forsyth will be playing the viola in the Orchestra of the Antipodes in L'Ormindo. Here she talks about playing with Pinchgut (she has been in every production) and what exactly are gut strings:-

Adam Gardnir talks about designing for L'Ormindo
Adam has been designing productions for theatre, opera, television and films, here and overseas. He has worked with such companies as The Australian Ballet, OzOpera, Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Company B, and film work including The Hollow Men and Walking with Dinosaurs.Adam and director Tayla Masel are hard at work refining their ideas for L'Ormindo.
