Pinchgut's 2009 opera will be Cavalli's L'Ormindo. A favola dramatica musicale first performed in Venice in 1644.
The production will open at City Recital Hall Angel Place, Sydney on Wednesday 2 December 2009. Box Office opens on the 23 July

Bookings for Pinchgut's fundraising cocktail evening is now open. On Wednesday 8 July 2009, in the beautiful foyers of the Australian Museum, Pinchgut will present a special night of music and magic to support their 2009 production of Cavalli’s L’Ormindo. The event will be opened by Her Excellency Marie Bashir AC CVO, Governor of NSW, a long-time supporter of Pinchgut who describes the innovative and superlative company as “one of the jewels of Sydney”.
