During the 2017/18 season, Sebastian Monti will interpret the part of Apollo and Sommel in Alcioneby Marin Marais conducted by Jordi Savall at the Théâtre de Caen, Pedrillo in Die Entführung aus dem Serail lead by Marcus Bosch in Heidenheim, Teobaldo in Giulietta e Romeo with Armonia Atenea conducted by George Petrou at the Theater an der Wien, the haute-contre solos in the Te Deum by Blanchard and by Colin de Blamont in Versailles, Bach in Montreal with Stradivaria conducted by Daniel Cuiller etc.

After graduating from the Centre de Musique Baroque of Versailles (CMBV), Sebastian Monti has worked with great conductors such as Emmanuelle Haim, Christophe Rousset, Pierre Cao, David Stern, Michel Laplènie, Hugo Reyne, Vincent Dumestre, Jérôme Correas, Mareck Stryncl, Vaclav Luks, Inaki Encina Oyon and others.

Sebastian Monti interpreted, among others, title roles of Actéon by Charpentier with Les Talens lyriques, Atys by Lully in Megaron, Platée at the Opéra de Massy, Orphée in original french version of Orphée et Euridice (1774). His others engagements include roles such as Orfeo in Le Carnaval de Venise by Campra, Nanki Poo in The Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan, Apollon in Le Pouvoir de l'Amour (1743) by Pancrace Royer, Evangelist in Johannes Passion at the Berliner Philharmonie, San Giovanni in La Passione di Gesù Cristo (1778) at the Ceske Museum Hubdeny of Prague, Mister Ford in Falstaff (1799) by Salieri et Il Consiglero in San Giovanni Battista by Stradella, with Ensemble Diderot, Apollon and Sommeil at the Opéra-Comique and at the Opéra Royal de Versailles. Sebastian Monti sang also as soloist the spiritual repertory, with composers such as Monteverdi, Bach, Zelenka, Schütz et Charpentier.

A CD recording on the works of a great venician tenor of the mid-18th century is planned.
