Alex Bieri is a Sydney based modern and baroque trumpet player.

Having studied trumpet at the Sydney Conservatorium High school and university, she went on to further studies in Switzerland and Germany.

Alex performs regularly with Sydney’s leading ensembles. These include: The
Australian Opera and Ballet orchestra, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and The Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Alex has performed with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Alex has recently performed as a soloist with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and Sopranista Samuel Marino, Handel’s Aria “Destero” from Amardigi di guala.

Alex now also runs her own company called The Music Partnership. The Music
Partnership facilitates over 800 music lessons per week and 25 ensemble rehearsals for primary aged children across Inner Sydney schools.

Alex plays a Rainer Egger 3 Hole baroque trumpet hand made in Basel.
