Tenor Elias Wilson is a Biripi First Nations man and a versatile performer of opera, oratorio, and musical theatre. As a member of Opera Australia’s Young Artist Program, Elias made his mainstage debut in 2026 as Monsieur Triquet in Eugene Onegin, and subsequently appeared as Trooper Leslie in The Drover’s Wife.

During his time with Opera Australia, he made his solo debut on the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, developed a staged concert work using the music and letters of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, and was a featured artist at both the 2025 Carols in the Domain and the 2026 Vivid Sydney festival.

Elias has previously performed for Victorian Opera in Sydney (Sweeney Todd) and Melbourne (The Visitors). He made his Pinchgut Opera debut in 2021 as a Muse in The Loves of Apollo & Dafne.
