Hannah Fraser is a highly regarded mezzo-soprano specialising in historically informed performance, with a repertoire spanning from early music to contemporary works. Known for her expressive artistry and technical finesse, she has captivated audiences across Australia and internationally.
She has performed with many of Australia’s leading ensembles and orchestras, including Pinchgut Opera, Bach Akademie Australia, Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, The Song Company, and Australian Vocal Ensemble.
Her excellence in early music was recognised internationally when she was awarded the Ex-Aequo Prize at the XIII Ancient Fatima Terzo Early Music Competition in Italy. She further honed her craft at the prestigious Academy of Belcanto “Rodolfo Celletti,” in collaboration with Festival della Valle d’Itria.
Beyond performance, Hannah is committed to education and outreach. Through her work with Moorambilla Voices, she nurtures and empowers young people, celebrating Australia’s rich cultural heritage through music, dance, and art.
