Jared Adams

Violin

Jared Adams is a young violinist, currently based in Sydney, with a keen interest in historically informed performance. After graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a BMus with Honours in violin, he has since worked with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra as a Fellow, Salut Baroque, and recently the Orchestra of the Antipodes.
Actively engaged in the community music scene, Jared also regularly presents chamber programs in churches and halls around Sydney with groups like the Sydney Cantata Project, the Kuringgai Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Euterpe Project. He seeks to maintain a balance between performance and research, recently co-presenting a lecture-recital on 19th-Century violin performance of music by Louis Spohr at the joint NZMS-MSA conference in 2025, and will soon continue that pursuit while undertaking further study in historical violin at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
