Karen Wood

Katren Wood graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Monash University in 2009. In 2010 she was accepted into the Design course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), where she received the William Fletcher Foundation Award for the development of young designers.

Since graduating from NIDA in 2013, Katren's theatre credits have included Girl in Tan Boots and Uncanny Valley (Griffin Theatre), and Owen Wingrave (Sydney Chamber Opera). She is currently designing His Music Burns (György Kurtág’s ...pas � pas – nulle part... and George Benjamin’s Into the Little Hill) for Sydney Chamber Opera, in conjunction with Sydney Festival 2014.
