Percussionist
Born in Sydney, Mark studied at both the Sydney Conservatorium the Royal Academy of Music in London.
From 2006 he was Section Leader of Percussion with the Ulster Orchestra until his return to Sydney in 2010 as the Associate Principal Timpanist with the SSO. He has appeared as guest Principal Timpanist and percussionist with a number of orchestras worldwide including the Melbourne, Adelaide and Queensland symphony Orchestras, the London Symphony Orchestra, Australian World Orchestra and Malaysian Philharmonic.
Mark has been a regular guest with Synergy Percussion, Omega Ensemble, the Australia Ensemble and has appeared at festivals around Australia and internationally.
Mark teaches at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and was appointed an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in 2012.
