Warwick is an award-winning director of visceral theatre experiences. A Revival Director with Opera Australia, he’s been honoured to work with international and local creative teams on outdoor productions such as HOSH and Carmen on Cockatoo Island. Warwick has a passion for supporting the growth and well-being of local artists and telling new stories. He has worked with Taichung National Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, National Theatre of Parramatta, Central Coast Opera, New Theatre, MonkeyBaa and the Kings Cross Theatre. He directed the Australian Premier of Zombie Thoughts for the National Theatre of Parramatta, If we got some more cocaine I could show you how I love you for Green Door Theatre Co. and Stupid F*cking Bird at the New Theatre (Winner of Sydney Theatre Awards Best Independent Production). Warwick workshopped a new musical of Dot and the Kangaroo with VCA, and was a recipient of the Sandra Bates Directing Award in 2020/21. He studied at NIDA.
