Anton has recently returned to Australia after living and working in Europe for the past 11 years, and has quickly established himself as an in-demand artist, soloist and educator. He has appeared as principal cellist and soloist with the Orchestra of the Antipodes (Pinchgut Opera), Australian Haydn Ensemble, Bach Akademie Australia, Adelaide Baroque, and is a regular member of the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra. Anton brings a wealth of experience and expertise through working with some of the world’s leading artists and researchers in the field of historically informed performance practice, and is passionate about introducing students and young performers to these practices.

Anton plays a Peter Elias cello made in Aigle, Switzerland, 2000, after Stradivarius and has played in six productions so far.
