Franky Drousioti is a multifaceted contemporary artist born in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia, with lineage tracing back to Cyprus, Italy, Scotland, and Ireland. His work is deeply rooted in exploring how art and culture connect us—how movement, creativity, and somatic practices shape our experiences.
Spanning performance, teaching, and artistic research, Franky creates spaces that honour the presence of human senses with love, respect, and compassion. As a movement specialist and certified ConTact C.A.R.E practitioner, his approach integrates technical exploration with embodied awareness, fostering deep physical and artistic freedom.
Franky has worked across diverse creative landscapes, collaborating with companies, independent artists, and educational institutions both in Australia and internationally. With an ongoing commitment to artistic research and interdisciplinary collaboration, he continues to push the boundaries of contemporary movement and performance.
