Seconda Prattica: Rossi's Dormite, begl’occhi

We are excited to announce the second instalment of our new short film series, Seconda Prattica is out now. We continue our series with a gentle musical piece by Rossi, Dormite, begl’occhi featuring three extraordinary singers, Taryn Fiebig, Anna Dowsley and Chloe Lankshear.

Dormite, begl’occhi is a lullaby from Rossi’s baroque opera Orfeo and was written to charm the leading character to sleep. It creates a peaceful mood with smooth musical phrasing so wonderful it can slow one’s heartbeat down.
